Biography
Carol Hansen has had a life-long love of nature. She and her husband are bird watchers, and Carol has volunteered for the Sea Turtle Preservation Society for over 18 years. When she received a digital camera in 2006, naturally she took pictures of birds and sea turtles. People who saw those incredible photos encouraged Carol to share her talent and market the images. Carol’s artwork is available at several gift shops in Brevard County, and she does a number of local art shows throughout the year. Recently, she was awarded “Best of Show” at the Melbourne Beach Founder’s Day Art Festival. The inspiration for Carol’s artwork is the amazing natural beauty of Central Florida. With her camera, she endeavors to capture this beauty in order to give others an appreciation of the wonders to be found in our own “backyard”. Carol lives in Melbourne Beach and works during tax season for H &R Block.
