Biography

Gordon is an outdoor explorer with a passion for writing action tales in a fast-paced, descriptive style. He lived in the Caribbean several years gathering story material from his own adventures, as well as exploits of other travelers. He now lives in Cocoa Beach where he writes nonfiction books and his Wild Side Series of Adventure Short Stories. His books include Boat Tales, Searching for One Particular Harbour, Bahamian Harbour Guide, and 20 e-short stories, as well as several songs, plays, and poems based in Panama, Cuba, Mexico, Florida, and Texas. Gordon’s stories takes you through his escapades of living and working in the island of turquoise water, rum drinks, giant fish, and golden sunsets where he found a few of Jimmy Buffett’s elusive harbors far away from tourist traps. His audible book Boat Tales was recorded in a Library of Congress recording studio and has been his top seller.

Gordon’s play “Ghost Tale” was played at Surfside Theater in Cocoa Beach. This was the true story of a ghost that haunted his girlfriend’s house. Gordon is diversified into many interests. He is an Editorial Advisor for Stormwater Magazine, an engineering based publication. He has written numerous scientific papers and peer reviewed articles about stormwater pollution and its deleterious effects upon Florida’s waters.
