Charlie Daniels, best known for his 1979 Grammy-winning hit “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” is an American music legend. A renowned singer, guitarist and fiddler, Daniels’ many accolades include gold, platinum and multiplatinum albums, multiple awards from the Country Music Association, The Academy of Country Music and the Gospel Music Association along with being an official member of the Grand Ole Opry. A self-proclaimed part-westerner and part-southerner, Daniels has always maintained that his music can only be categorized in the “CDB” genre.
