SPACE COAST MARINE INSTITUTE MURAL
From first design, to finished mural, this mosaic was created by Space Coast Marine Institute with Lou Ann Weeks.

Mosaic artist Weeks led the project under the Brevard Cultural Alliance's Artist in Residence program.

"Four of the students here came up with the design concept," Weeks said. "It's actually one of the biggest mosaics of the half-dozen I've done over the last four years."
INDIALANTIC CHAMBER SINGERS
A select group of mixed voices, the ICS performs works from the Renaissance through the twenty-first century at several concerts each year.

Feel The Spirit, with two concerts being performed in October, includes many songs from the time of slavery in our nation.

Spirituals provided comfort and eased the boredom of daily tasks, but above all, they were an expression of spiritual devotion and a yearning for freedom.
