BCA BOARD OFFICERS 2011
	Bunny Finney Chair Community Volunteer	Bunny is an active community leader noted for her strengths as an organizer and motivator. A critical thinker and visionary, she understands the dynamics of change. Effective in planning and policy development, Bunny's leadership brings significant growth and participation to Brevard. Civic interests include uniting the community, promoting education, and youth - she serves on boards, committees and task forces at state, regional and local levels to further those interests.
	Michael LaFortune Chair-Elect SunGard Higher Education	Michael is a senior product manager at SunGard Higher Education. An F.I.T. and Satellite High School graduate, he worked overseas and in major U.S. cities before choosing to come back to Brevard to be among family, friends, and the unique Space Coast environment. Interests include travel, music, opera, theatre, surfing, and other sustainable water sports.
	Dr. Brenda Fettrow Treasurer City of Cocoa	Dr. Fettrow graduated from Rollins College with an M.A. in Counseling and Psychology, and an Ed.D., Doctor of Education degree from U.F. She oversees seven departments as deputy manager of City of Cocoa, and brings nearly 20 years of experience from B.C.C. as director of the office for students with disabilities; campus president of student services; and VP of resource development. She serves on several boards in Brevard.
	Josh Field Secretary Space Coast Business Marketing	Josh is the co-founder and president of SCB Marketing - a local company that helps small and medium-sized businesses achieve their objectives through a proprietary offering of media products, events, marketing services, and professional experience. As publisher and editor-in-chief of Space Coast Living and Space Coast Business magazines, he dedicates his free time to serve on various boards and committees in Brevard.

	Kim Agee Governance Agee Consulting	Space Coast Business magazine has named Kim as one of the 100 most powerful people in Brevard, and one of the 100 Most Influential Business Leaders in Brevard. For over 16 years, Kim worked for the Economic Development Commission and served as a liaison to many councils.
	Jimi Gonzalez Marketing ISD Tech Group	Jimi manages ISD Tech Group, Audio/Visual Systems Integration for residential and commercial markets. He headed up the residential division of the family-owned business, Island Systems and Design, writes tech and marketing columns for local magazines, and has been recognized by Space Coast Business magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Brevard. He is a musician with expertise on guitar, piano and ukelele.
	Jim Ridenour Past Chair Residence Inn & Courtyard by Marriott	Retired from nearly 30 years in the Air Force, Jim is general manager of two local hotels and serves on 11 boards and committees. Jim shares his expertise with the Economic Development Commission and the Space Coast Office of Tourism. He brought the successful Art of Sand Festival to the Space Coast, and expanded the Fall for the Arts Festival in the Eau Gallie Arts District. 	Joseph Sofia Treasurer-Elect Florida Business Bank	Joe is the Senior Lender at Florida Business Bank. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from Capital University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in General Business from Miami University. He is active on several local boards, to include the Foosaner Museum and the Vivace Society.
	Kathy Thomas-Beck Financial Counsel RSM McGladrey	Kathy has been a practicing CPA in Brevard for 25 years. She is Partner with RSM McGladrey, the fifth-largest accounting firm in the country. She serves on the executive committee for the State of Florida, and leads the state-wide consulting practice. She has received the McGladrey Employee of the Year honor, given to one of 8,000 employees who exemplify teamwork, integrity and excellence.
	Susie Wasdin BCA Village Operations Wasdin Associates	Susie graduated from U.F. with a B.A. in Education, and attended B.C.C and Cocoa Beach High. Wasdin Associates initially constructed custom homes, and her company has been known as an Award Winning Builder. Susie and husband Tom are active on several boards and committees, and Susie is a talented pianist, interior designer, and avid volunteer in the community. 	Mason Williams Legal Counsel GrayRobinson, P.A.	Mason is a life-long resident of the great state of Florida, who moved to Brevard when his law firm merged with local attorneys Jack and Malcolm Kirschenbaum and later with attorneys Phil and Don Nohrr. Mason graduated from U.F. and from the University of Florida College of Law. His lovely wife of nearly thirty years, is known locally as Dot the Clown, the Merry Magician, and the Merry Puppeteer. Mason's office serves as one of BCA's Art in Public Places locations,
	BCA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
	Catherine Alexander NASA	Catherine is a program analyst for the NASA Launch Services Program at KSC. She began her career at NASA over 30 years ago, and as well, has over 30 years experience as a dancer, dance instructor and choreographer. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Performance from University of South Florida, concurrently with her business degree. A charter member of the Florida Dance Association with whom she served as board president, she is also a member of Florida Dance Masters.
	Doris & John Bailey Action Accounting of Florida, LLC	Doris and her husband John formed Action Accounting & Tax of Florida, LLC. She was the Director of Finance and Accounting for Northrop Grumman-SGS Division and is an exceptionally qualified business manager with over 22 years of experience in administration and management of government contracts. Mrs. Bailey’s efforts defined the accounting and reporting requirements for the Joint Base Operations Contract with Air Force/NASA contracts. She can be found attending events in both Brevard and in Orlando. She is also a quilter, and a supporter of youth arts.
	Linda Brandt Brandt Ronat + Co.	Linda is a strategic consultant, writer, art director, design firm leader, and has 25 years of experience for strategic marketing program development and design/branding solutions--from startups to rebranding or repositioning businesses and organizations at moments of challenge or for crucial milestones and future sustainability. Linda believes strategic communications is about determining and focusing on the issues for an organization, before carefully considering the steps to take when designing a marketing campaign.
	Marsha Cantrell Brevard County Parks & Recreation	Marsha is the liaison for the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners, and is the parks support services manager for the Brevard County Parks and Recreation department. With a B.A. in public administration from U.C.F., Marsha finds that her interests in music, reading, boating and nature, are part of the reason she enjoys life on the Space Coast. She participates in many boards, to include the Indian River Scenic Highway Coalition, Brevard's Marine Advisory board, and has participated with work groups for Archie Carr and Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge.
	Alyce Christ Space Coast Pops	Alyce with her late husband Joe began the Space Coast Philharmonic, which evolved into the Space Coast Pops Orchestra. Dedicated to preserving live music on the Space Coast, Alyce has been at the forefront of participation in the Cultural Arts Advisory Network, and in advocacy for the arts in Brevard County.
	Col. James Dwight Florida Air Academy	Jamie president of Florida Air Academy, an international, college prep school for grades 6-12. He isa graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont, received a Master's degree from Columbia University, then returned to central Florida where he earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from F.I.T. He finds time to participate on several boards including BCA, and serves on the Economic Development Commission, Melbourne International Airport Authority, Rollins College, Junior Achievement, and the American Cancer Society boards, and many civic organizations. He is an private pilot and enjoys various outdoor sports.
	Bill Ellis Health First, Inc.	Bill Ellis is the Vice President of Health First.Bill has an extensive amount of community involvement including but not limited to; The American Hospital Association, Associated Industries of Florida, Civilian Military Affairs Foundation, Former Director of Public Affairs, Canaveral Port Authority Former Area Manager (Brevard County) and District General Manager (West Palm Beach), Florida Power & Light Company Florida Past Chairman, Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce Vice Chair of Governmental Affairs and Member of Executive Committee, Melbourne/Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce Governor Emeritus and Past President, and Brevard County Tourist Development Council Past President and Board Member.
	Nancey Giangrisostomi Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy	Nancy Giangrisostomi is the Junior High Director of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, the premier independent school of Brevard County. She has diligently served in this administrative position for the past six years. During this time she has developed a collaborative work environment encouraging faculty and students to reach their full potential. Under her direction several programs have been added to the Junior High School which have enriched the educational experience of the students and provided academic, spiritual, social and athletic development.
	Carey Gleason Community Volunteer	Carey Gleason is most recently the Assistant Vice President for Advancement and Community Relations at Florida Institute of Technology. She has been instrumental in supporting the colleges with regard to development of key academic revenue activities. Carey’s involvement with the community is extensive. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Orlando Florida Chapter; Grand Samaritan, Health First, Board of Overseers of the Florida Tech College of Business to name a few.
	Link Johnsten Eau Gallie Florist	Link Johnston is an award winning floral designer who is also a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers.
	Darcia Jones Francey Community Volunteer	Darcia Jones Francey is the Chairman and Director at Prevent! of Brevard, Inc. She is also invovled with the Space Coast Science Center, Inc. Darcia also donates most of her time to the community as an avid volunteer.
	Gina Kaiser Florida Today	Gina Kaiser is the Director of Marketing and Community Affairs for FLORIDA TODAY. She serves as chief marketing executive for FLORIDA TODAY Communications. Working across departments, develops strategic plans to increase aggregate audience and revenue for our product portfolio in a competitive marketplace. Manages key partnerships and community relations efforts to strengthen our position in the community we serve. Gina received her B.A in Graphic Design/ Fine Arts from Kansas State University. Gina has received numerous awards in creative excellence and is a member of the American Advertising Federation.
	Dr. Michael Krupp Brevard Public Schools	Dr. Krupp has served Brevard Public Schools in numerous capacities including the following: science teacher for DeLaura Jr. H.S.; Adult/Community Center Ed. Coordinator for Cocoa Beach High School (now known as Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High); an Assistant Principal for Merritt Island, Titusville, and Cocoa High Schools; and prior to his retirement from BPS in 2004, he served as principal of Edgewood and Astronaut High Schools. Dr. Krupp has also served Brevard Community College as their Ombudsman for the Educator Preparation Institute/Alternative Certification Program from 2006-2010.
	Kendall T. Moore Attourney at Law	Kendall T. Moore is a native of Brevard County, Florida. He graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and the University of Florida where he received a law degree. During his years in Brevard, Kendall has dedicated his time and energy to the betterment of his community serving two terms on the Rockledge City Council including a year as the Council's Chairman and the City's Vice Mayor. Additionally, he has received several accolades for his professional, civic, and community work.
	Susan Perers Interior Design	Susan Perers is a Florida State Registered Interior Designer. She has had over 30 years of commercial interior design experience. Ms. Perers, who has practiced commercial interior design in both the Treasure and Space Coast business communities, is affectionately known as the "Green Guru of Melbourne", for she has always designed her projects in a sustainable way even before the green movement became nationally popular. Susan Perers always encourages everyone to "go green", adding "it just makes good sense!”.
	Jim Platman Bright House Networks	Jim Platman is the Sr. Community Relation/Program Manager at Bright House Networks. Jim received his B.A in Telecommunications from Kent State Univeristy. Jim is also a member of the Brevard Schools Foundation, and has a strong commitment to education of our youth in Brevard.
	Tony Sasso Cocoa Beach Surf Museum	Tony Sasso has been the Executive Director of the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum since 2007. Tony has also been involved in state and local government as elected official and citizen advocate. Tony was recognized for outstanding leadership and service by Florida Association of Counties, Florida Education Association, Florida League of Conservation Voters, and Marine Resources Council. Tony is committed to local community projects and improvement through Boy Scouts of America and arts, cultural and educational service endeavors.
	Delores Spearman Community Volunteer	Delores Spearman dedicates most of her time to giving back to the community. Her interests include history and environmental issues. She is very involved with the Brevard Historical Society focusing on the Rossetter House and other historical places throughout Brevard County. She has also been a member of the Art in Public Places program for the past two years.
	Craig Suman Holeman Suman Architects, Inc.	Craig Suman is the Principal of Holeman Suman Architects Inc. which is a full service architecture, planning and interior design company. Craig received his B.A in Architecture and Design from the University of Florida.
	Laurilee Thompson Dixie Crossroads	Laurilee Thompson is the owner of Dixie Crossroads Seafood Restaurant in Titusville. She is also an active nature enthusiast and spends time kayaking, bird-watching and enjoying the outdoors.
	Amelia Williams Community Volunteer	Amelia Williams does an extensive amount of community volunteer work in Brevard County. She also serves on the following Boards; The Brevard Symphony Orchestra , The Brevard Symphany Orchestra North Guild, The Community Foundation of Brevard and The King Center for the Permorming Arts.
	Craig Yoder Progressive Document Destruction	Craig Yoder is the prinicipal and co-founder of Progressive Document Destruction in Cocoa. Craig also serves on other Boards including; CBCAC, Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce, Keep Brevard Beautiful, Recycling Citizens Advisory Committee and Florida Recycling Today. Craig enjoys fishing, hunting, cycling and traveling.
