When looking at a scene, I envision how I would like to share it with others – I use my camera and different photography techniques to capture the image to share my vision. I want people to feel drawn into my images, to feel the magical beauty of a location, or the emotions of my subjects.
Artist Bio
Three years ago I moved from New Hampshire to Melbourne Florida where I live with my husband, three children, three pugs and a Blue & Gold Macaw named “Flower”. After moving to Florida I became involved with Orlando Pug Rescue and Adoption OPRA, the source of 2 of my pets, and became a foster home for homeless pugs across the state. Flower is a rescue as well having come from a local avian rescue. In addition to rescuing animals I volunteer for the 18th District Court as a Guardian ad Litem, giving a voice to children whose families are involved within the state system.
After moving to Florida I began taking steps to bring my photography to a new level. I joined local photography groups, began studying different portrait photographers (Hanson Fong, Arturo Macias, and Brian Idocks among others). Additionally, I regularly attend regional conferences and seminars statewide learning the latest techniques for capturing the best images as well as advanced post processing techniques.
