I have spent the last 25 years working in the field of employee benefits, but I have always known art was my first love. I started painting water color about 18 months ago. This was my first attempt at painting anything in 20 years. I took an oil class some years ago but because of allergies to the solvents, I was only able to do a few paintings. For years I was so busy building my insurance practice that art had to go on the back burner. I have always been in love with art and I love to paint subjects that make people happy. I have chosen to honor friends and family members by naming paintings after them. Some of my paintings have been named in memory of loved ones that have passed away from cancer. Others have been named for those still fighting cancer and living with it

For now, instead of selling my art, I prefer to donate my art work to cancer related charities. It gives me great pleasure to be able to raise money for the fight against cancer and to help cancer patients fund expenses that are often unforeseen when they are stricken by cancer.

I have been an active board member with the American Cancer Society for the last 7 years. I hope to see a cure for cancer in my life time and an end to the suffering caused by this hideous disease.
