BCA to Administer Grant to Benefit At-Risk Youth

The Brevard Schools Foundation is the recipient of a grant from the Heineman Foundation and recently selected Brevard Cultural Alliance (BCA) to administer the grant to continue serving at-risk youth in Brevard County. This is the 3rd year BCA has been selected to administer this grant.

“It’s an honor to receive this generous support for the third year in a row,” said BCA Director Neil Levine, “In 2015 and 2016, our efforts tied to this funding enabled us to serve more than 120 at-risk youth each year with art-based programming at two juvenile detention facilities in Brevard County.” The two facilities are Brevard Group Treatment Home and the Melbourne Center for Personal Growth.

The Heineman Foundation is a 501(c)3, founded in 1948. The organization provides grants to support innovative projects through established businesses across the country. To learn more visit www.heinemanfoundation.org.
